Broad Street Capital Advisors Earns AIF® Designations

Broad Street principals Richard Patrick Sheridan and James H. Bozman and Ed Hill, director of retirement plan consulting, recently earned the prestigious Accredited Investment Fiduciary AIF® designation. The Broad Street Group join an elite faction of financial professionals who have been certified as having a “comprehensive understanding of fiduciary standards of excellence, asset allocation, preparation of investment policy, manager search and due diligence, performance measurement and other related subjects.”

Sheridan, Bozman and Hill were awarded the AIF® designation on July 19, 2007 by the Center for Fiduciary Studies in association with the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. As AIF® designees, they will be required to conform to a Fiduciary Code of Ethics and adhere to continuing education requirements on a yearly basis.

Accredited Investment Fiduciaries have a reputation in the industry as being the best positioned to develop and implement prudent investment practices and are required to always act in the best interests of their client, beneficiary or retirement plan participant. Recently, the AIF designation was named one of the “Ten Most Wanted” designations in the financial industry by Financial Planning Magazine.
